2026 Spring Baseball

Northwood Little League 2026 Spring Registration is now open!

Each division's registration will remain open until it is full.

Register early to avoid ending up on a wait list.

IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE YOU REGISTER:

Please be mindful that Little League has updated their eligibility verification and volunteer background check questions during the registration process, we appreciate your patience!

Please note: due to the size and logistics of our league, we are unable to tell you in advance what nights of the week your players will be on the field. We do not play or practice on Sunday. All other days of the week are subject to appear on your schedule.

Due to the overwhelming success last year, we will continue to offer the CP Prep division! This division is designed specifically for 6 & 7-year-olds who are ready to take their skills to the next level and continue their baseball journey or possibly are brand new to baseball and not yet ready for regular CP division. Parents of this age group have the ability to select CP Prep or CP during the registration process.

The Coach Pitch (CP) Prep division is a fantastic opportunity for players who have outgrown T-Ball but aren’t quite ready for the full competition of the Coach Pitch division.

Teammate requests are not available for any divisions except Tee Ball. Teammate requests will ONLY be accepted for Tee Ball this year; no coaches requests. All other players will be assigned to the team on which they are drafted. Note: siblings in the same division will be assigned to the same team. If siblings are in different divisions they cannot be assigned to the same team.

Volunteering: Northwood Little League is run entirely by volunteers and that includes you. You MUST volunteer for one role in the volunteer section.

Note: If you do not receive a confirmation email after you think you have finished the registration process, check your spam filter or re-check your registration. All confirmed registrants will receive an email.

Please take note of these other important considerations as you prepare to register.

OUR DIVISIONS ARE BASED ON LITTLE LEAGUE AGE

Little League Age is not always the easiest thing to understand. The best way to think about this for baseball divisions it is that the year begins on September 1. Softball uses a calendar year. Here's how you can figure out which division your player will be in.

Tee Ball: 4-5  years old (Born 9/1/20- 8/31/22)
Coach Pitch Prep: 6-7 years old ( Born 9/1/18 - 8/31/20)
Coach Pitch: 7-8  years old (Born 9/1/17 - 8/31/19)
Minors: 9-10 years old (Born 9/1/15 - 8/31/17)
Majors: 11-12 years old (Born 9/1/13 - 8/31/2015)

MEDICAL RELEASE & VOLUNTEERING

The medical release form is now required to be completed during the registration process. Please complete and upload before proceeding with checkout. No child will be able to practice or play until the medical release form is fully completed.

You will need to fill out the volunteer section during the registration process so the league can run a background check on you. All information will be kept confidential and sensitive identifying information will be discarded after the check is complete.

Important: If you intend to volunteer as a manager or a coach, you must register prior to January 15.

SCHEDULES

Northwood Little League will hold player evaluations in late January/early February. Player evaluations are only for Coaches Pitch Prep, Coaches Pitch, Minors and Majors divisions for both baseball and softball. We expect to host evaluations on January 31st thru February 2nd (exact divisions and dates TBD; with the following weekend as a weather backup).

Practices are expected to begin approximately one week after evaluations. Games will begin in early March and last through May. Practices and games will take place at Corey Burns Park for baseball with the East Riverside Park being a possible location as well this year. Directions can be found on our website here

Practice and game times will vary between each division. Generally speaking, the younger the player is, the earlier his or her game will be.

FEES

Tee Ball and Baseball registration is $185.

The registration fee covers all Northwood fees. Each player will receive a team cap, jersey, pants, and belt as part of the registration. Players will be responsible for providing their own helmet, bat, and glove.
