When does Northwood registration start?

When the Fall Ball teams recorded the last out of autumn this week, they marked the end of Northwood’s 2017 schedule. It’s now more than three long months before the kids will be back out on the diamond.

It would be a great reason to feel sad…if registration for the 2018 season wasn’t right around the corner.

That’s right, folks. You have barely more than a month to start thinking about filling out the registration forms for a milestone Northwood year.

This year, Northwood is celebrating its 50th year as one of South Carolina’s most successful Little League organizations, and if the early excitement is any indication, this could be one of the biggest years ever at Corey Burns park.

While it’s exciting to have so many people wanting to play for Northwood, it also means parents are going to have to be on the ball when it comes time to register. It is nearly certain that some of the divisions will sell out well in advance of evaluation day. If you want to guarantee your child a spot in the regular season, you will need to register as early as you can.

With that in mind, mark your calendars for the first week of December. That is when we expect to open up registration for all divisions. If you look at the top of this page you will see a link for Registration. That’s where you’ll get on your way to celebrating Northwood’s 50th anniversary with a full season of games.

Forgetful? Don’t sweat it. We’ll do all we can to remind you as the time gets closer. To be sure you are as connected as you can be, keep your eye on this website, our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts, and our text and smartphone app services.

For now, put those ball gloves somewhere dry and warm, knock the dirt off the cleats, and get ready to register in a few weeks.
